How to use the Examples in these Tutorials
These tutorials provide interactive examples to encourage exploration and experimentation.
Clicking on any of the examples will use psv in the background to reformat the text in the editor.
You are encouraged to edit the texts in these panels and see what psv does in different situations.
Example Editors
Examples are presented in a simple text editor, like this one:
Each editor provides the following interactions:
| Button | Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|---|
| ctrl-enter | reformat the table(s) in the editor | |
| copy the contents of the editor into your copy buffer | ||
| show or hide additional options that change psv's behaviour | ||
| reset the editor to its initial state | ||
| return the editor to the most recent state | ||
| ctrl-u | move backwards through the editor's undo history | |
| ctrl-r | move forward through the editor's undo history | |
| use the slider to move back and forward through the editor's undo history | ||
|
Some editors also have an "Animation" panel, consisting of
a start/stop button and a slider that can be used to change
the animation speed.
Animated demos stop automatically after cycling through all
of their states 3 times.
